SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES HOLDS WORKSHOP FOR ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

The School of Languages has held a workshop for administrative staff within its various departments. The workshop was organised with the aim of enhancing writing skills and to improve general administrative practices. The topics covered included official correspondence, minutes writing and customer service. The workshop which had resource persons from Units within the School was an interactive session which allowed participants to share their experiences through role play and other forms of exercises.

The participants comprised permanent administrative staff and national service persons. The Dean in her opening remarks expressed the hope that the lessons from the workshop will have a positive impact on their work output.

At the end of the session, the School Administrator expressed appreciation to the resource persons and participants for making the workshop a success. The administrative staff made known their profound gratitude to the Dean for organizing such an informative and educative workshop.
