SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES ORGANISES SPECIAL PROGRAM ON SHORT COURSES

The School of Languages has organized a special program on short courses, the first of its kind, aimed at enhancing professionalism and to raise expertise in the business environment. Professionals, members of faculty, and administrative staff of the University and workers outside the University environs registered for and attended the workshop.

A cross-section of facilitators and participants at the Special Programme organised by the School of Languages 

 

Courses treated by the seasoned facilitators focused on Speaking Skills, Minutes Taking and Agenda Writing, Business Writing and Presentation Skills. The facilitators in their various presentations, created an interactive environment for role playing and sharing of experience.

As part of the Schools strategic plan to make itself a pertinent entity to its internal and external stakeholders, the Special Programs Committee which comprised faculty of the School, worked effortlessly at making the program a success.

The Dean, Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, in her opening address embraced participants promising them an informative and interactive session from all the facilitators. The Chair of the Committee, Dr. Joanna Boampong welcomed and wished all participants a fruitful training program. At the end on each course participants were awarded with certificates for participating.
