School Of Languages Takes Over Management Of Maison Francaise Facilities

 

SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES TAKES OVER MANAGEMENT OF MAISON FRANCAISE FACILITIES

A handing over ceremony of  facilities at Maison Francaise, the French Cultural and Information Centre, University of Ghana, to the School of Languages has been held. The ceremony involved officials from the French Embassy and the School of Languages.

            Present at the ceremony were Prof. Nana Aba A. Amfo, Dean, School of Languages, Dr. Ildiko Csajbok-Twerefou, Department of Modern Languages, representatives of the

            French Embassy; Dr. Jean-Luc Mure, Ms. Julie Fournier, Ms. Caroline Canonne and Mr. Daniel Doe, from Campus France.

 

Consequently, the day to day management of the facilities will be done by a representative of the Dean, who has been identified as Dr. Ildiko Csajbok-Twerefou. By this action the School of Languages takes over the management of approximately a hundred seater conference hall, a library and some office space.


 Prof. Nana Aba A. Amfo, Dean, School of Languages and Dr. Jean-Luc Mure, Cooperation and Cultural Affairs Counsellor of the French Embassy, signing the diplomatic note, which authorized the transfer.
